Between 22nd and 26th February the event “The Global Debt Business 2021”, created by DDC Financial took its place. These dates correspond to the first part of a large event, which brought together several companies and professionals from the Investment, Asset Management and Debt Business sectors.

The DDC Financial’s event, “The Global Debt Business2021“, sponsored by HipoGes, is divided into two parts. This first part, totally virtual, dealt with several issues related to the sector, such as the impact of the pandemic and the latest news on the debt market. The second part of the event, which will take place on 17 and 18 June, will take place at the Stamford Bridge Chelsea Football Stadium, in London, with a hybrid format.
It was on the first day of the event that our General Manager & Partner, Hugo Velez, discussed in the panel “Macro-Financial Conditions & Outlook For Distressed Debt Investing”, alongside other important industry figures, with the moderation of Richard Tompson, Partner & Financial Services Lead Advisory, PwC in the UK.
Several topics of relevance were discussed at this conference, especially the growing political and geoeconomic disunity and how this affects not only the market, but also the replacement of portfolios, now that a new cycle is coming for the market. Another discussion of interest of this panel was around the issue of value creation and how disruptions in the market and sector can be transformed into favorable retribution.
