One of the main pillars of Hipoges’ strategy is its geographic expansion. As we have grown over the years, we identified new development opportunities, including the opportunity to expand through the opening of new work centers, both nationally, in Portugal’s main cities, and internationally in Spain, Greece and Italy.
Today, we are pleased to announce that the company continues to grow and develop. As such, Hipoges continues with its expansion plan through the inauguration of its new office in Barcelona, the fourth Spanish city where we have presence.
As of today, the 13th of September 2021, our more than 800 employees will join the already incorporated 18 people who are working presently in the city, in order to maintain our growth and market leadership.
As Marco Sales, Real Estate Director of Hipoges Spain, said, “the opening in Barcelona represents a very important milestone for Hipoges and its expansion in Spain, supporting the exponential growth we have had of new portfolios and new assets under management. As Director of the Real Estate Department, I consider it to be a key office for our entire management. I have always been an advocate of proximity, which applies to everyone: proximity between people and our employees, and proximity to our suppliers and APIs. Being close makes everything easier, makes all our management much more agile and efficient. To all new incorporations, my warmest welcome to this very special project“.
The new office in Barcelona enjoys an excellent location, at 161 Tarragona Street, next to Sants Station, which favors quick communication with the rest of the Spanish cities.
The look & feel of the new office follows the guidelines of the other Hipoges’ offices, integrating new corporate elements with the aim of promoting concentration, productivity, and teamwork, while creating a more comfortable and welcoming space for the people who work there.
