On Thursday, the 12th of September, Hipoges celebrated at the Move On 2024 event, announcing its exponential growth of up to 25% in property sales during the first eight months of the year. This fourth edition of the internal Move On event was once again an excellent opportunity to share results and to set out the next objectives for the marketing of assets managed by the company.

On this occasion, the event took place at Platea Madrid, a spectacular venue that allowed to gather a large number of people, ensuring the quality of the presentations and being a welcoming place for great networking. In total around 500 people attended, not only Hipoges employees, but also senior management, real estate agents and sponsors such as Fotocasa, DataVenues and Grupo CYMA.

In addition, days before the Move On 2024 event, each broker was selected to be on a different team. On the day of the event, as a surprise, they were able to compete in a quiz where the winner had the chance to win an iPad.

The doors to the event opened at 6pm, marking the start of Move On 2024 event, which featured year-to-date results, presentations and exciting corporate videos. There was also networking time accompanied by a delicious cocktail and surprises such as a quiz and an areoskills show.

Growth of Hipoges presented at the Move On 2024             

Comparing the results obtained in the first months of the year with the same period in 2023, Hipoges has marketed more than 15,000 real estate assets of a wide variety of types, which represents a remarkable success for the entire company.

Among the various types of assets managed in 2024, land was the most important, accounting for 43% of the assets managed. However, assets such as commercial real estate also manage important figures with 30%, or residential assets with 20%.

In terms of geographical areas, the largest number of transactions took place in Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante and Murcia. These areas accounted for 40% of the total number of transactions carried out by Hipoges so far this year.

On the other hand, in the regional environment, we can see how Barcelona, Levante and Huelva have reflected an exponential growth in the number of properties sold, even doubling or tripling the numbers obtained in this period of the previous year. Once again, these figures reflect a clear expansion of the company’s business in key areas of the country.

Key topics for the future of the company at the Move On 2024

Among other things, significant data was presented, during the Move On 2024, as well as discussions, where key people from Hipoges raised fundamental topics for the future of the company’s business. Among them, Ángel Alcázar Chief Operating Officer in Spain together with Luis Ramírez Head of Sareb, underlined the importance of digitalisation to continue with a progressive evolution, as well as the objectives for the rest of the year and the challenges for next year.

At the event, Ángel also shared the four key strategies to be pursued and achieved in the near future. For the company, it is essential to continue with its strategy of geographical diversification, which has had a clear evolution in recent times with the opening of two new offices in Seville and A Coruña, and the diversification of the business for better adaptability to the different needs of customers and the market; technological innovation in terms of efficiency; and increasing operational efficiency, with a special interest in attracting and retaining customers.

Although one of the most important milestones announced at the Move On 2024 was the 25% growth in property sales so far this year, there are other major developments. Among them, the inauguration of a new area dedicated to the sale of properties in profitability, thus perfecting the departments that manage auctions, auction sales and the sale of assets without possession or unique assets, such as land and construction jobs that are stopped. This new department aims to improve the management and marketing process for assets valued at EUR 1.8 billion, facilitating easier access to potential customers.

In addition, the creation of new areas within Hipoges meets the objective of adapting to the diverse and ever-changing needs of customers and the real estate market in general. This approach has already been implemented in Portugal, obtaining successful operations for the rental departments. For this reason, it has now become a clear commitment for the company in Spain.
