As the year draws to a close, it’s time to enjoy the holidays, disconnect from the daily routine, and share special moments with our loved ones. Continuing with a tradition that has already become a beloved custom, Hipoges once again joins forces with Fundación Diversión Solidaria in Spain and AMI in Portugal, to carry out its long-awaited initiative: The Magic of Christmas 2024. An event full of smiles and hope, bringing joy and excitement to the children who need it most.
Hipoges Spain team in solidarity action with Fundacion Diversion Solidaria
Since the end of October, everyone in the company has had the opportunity to participate in this charitable initiative. Employees from the offices in Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, Seville, and A Coruña, as well as colleagues from Cobo, have voluntarily contributed to the “Magic of Christmas 2024” initiative. This year, more than 150 gifts were collected and delivered to the central headquarters in Madrid, where they were later distributed by our volunteer elves.
The primary goal of this initiative is for each participant to receive a letter from a child, in which the child or their parents describe the gifts they would most love to receive this Christmas. This effort not only creates a positive impact on children at risk of social exclusion but also strengthens the sense of community and solidarity within the organization.
Hipoges Portugal team in solidarity action with AMI
During the Christmas period, the Hipoges team in Porto once again demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility by joining AMI (International Medical Assistance) in an inspiring act of solidarity. This gesture of altruism reinforces the company’s values and underlines the importance of supporting those most in need during these special dates.
With enthusiasm and dedication, Hipoges Porto employees actively participated in a campaign aimed at supporting families and communities in need, collaborating in the collection and distribution of essential goods. From food and clothing to toys and toiletries, the team strived to provide a more dignified and happy Christmas to those facing hardship.
In Lisbon, the team gave another example of solidarity and social responsibility by joining forces to collect essential goods for AMI. This initiative, which has become a hallmark of the company’s commitment, was aimed at supporting families and communities in vulnerable situations. Non-perishable food, hygiene products and other necessary items were collected. The action was enthusiastically received, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and the desire to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
This partnership with AMI stands out for its empathy and teamwork, strengthening the ties between our employees and local communities. These initiatives not only bring hope and comfort to many, but also inspire deeper reflection on the impact that small actions can have on people’s lives.
Other Corporate Social Responsibility Events in 2024
This year, Hipoges has also stood out for its commitment to diversity, inclusion and solidarity through various initiatives aligned with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) plan:
- Hipoges Celebrates International Women’s Month 2024 (#HipogesWomensMonth): Throughout March, several activities and talks were organised to highlight the importance of women’s role in all areas of society.
- Hipoges Celebrates European Diversity Month 2024 in May (#HipogesDiversityMonth): A month dedicated to recognising and promoting diversity in the workplace and in society at large. We hosted awareness-raising workshops, panels with experts and inclusive activities to promote a diverse and respectful work environment.
- Hipoges stands in solidarity on Pink October and Blue November: In support of the fight against breast and prostate cancer, the organisation actively participated in awareness campaigns. Employees from all offices joined together to show their solidarity and commitment.
Through these and other initiatives, Hipoges reaffirms its commitment to the community and the creation of a more inclusive, supportive and opportunity-filled environment for everyone. We will continue to work towards generating a positive and sustainable impact both inside and outside the company.
